Peninsula A quiet day, with work interfering with the birdwatching. No reports received from anyone and my only news as follows - Church Norton this evening, 60 Sandwich Terns and 30 Common Terns milling around Tern Island, and the Ferry, 7 Avocet, 16 Black-Tailed Godwit, 30 Shelduck, 14 Teal and 6 Redshank.

This evening SH had another Storm Petrel at 17.10pm, but yet again I missed it! Otherwise very quiet.

Chichester GPs A report on SOS of 2 1st-summer Little Gulls yesterday.
Medmerry Surprised to find a male 'White' Wagtail there this afternoon. Otherwise, 8 Avocets, 1 Little Ringed Plover, 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Redshank and a Cuckoo present.

Church Norton Still plenty of activity around Tern Island, with 30+ Sandwich Tern, 20+ Common Tern & up to 10 Mediterranean Gulls hanging around the area. Otherwise pretty quiet, bar 5 Black-Tailed Godwits.
Ferry Pool 12 Avocets, 23 Black-Tailed Godwits and a House Martin today.
Sidlesham Very pleased to see the Swallows that nest in our shed have fledged 6 young, sat out of the wind this afternoon.
