Up to eight Sedge Warblers were singing along the wall,  along with two Chiffchaffs, five Cetti's Warblers and a few Reed Buntings and there was also a Green woodpecker about.

The harbour held 50+ Sandwich Terns, 12 Black-tailed Godwits, a Lesser Black-backed Gull and a lone Brent Goose, but not much else of note..

Marsh Farm, Sidlesham: A circular walk around Chalder and Marsh Farms was very pleasant but disappointing on the bird front. Also, 32 Curlews were in the fields and Linnets and Pied Wagtails were busy collecting nesting material. Four Swallows were on the wires and a Mallard had 11 newly hatched ducklings.

Easter Monday, 13th April: A complete contrast to yesterday, with a biting and near gale-force north-easterly making conditions decidedly unpleasant early on, though warming up a little later.....

Selsey Bill: Early on, three Bonxies went east and a Long-tailed Duck dropped on the sea, but otherwise it was mostly Gannets, Sandwich Terns and Mediterranean Gulls drifting east.

North Wall: At least half a dozen Cattle Egrets were tucked away in Owl Copse this morning, whilst the Marsh Harrier popped up briefly over the reeds behind the Breech Pool, but most of the few Reed Buntings, Sedge and Cetti's Warblers present were heard rather than seen.
A Spotted Redshank was in White's Creek, along with 40 Black-tailed Godwits and two Great Crested Grebes, but there wasn't much to see in the harbour.
